Surroundings and trips
Trips from Opárno
Opárno lies in the Opárno Valley in the České středohoří uplands. It is a good starting point for hiking, cycling and car trips.
Lovoš
A prominent landmark above Lovosice (570 m) and a national nature reserve. A mountain hut at the summit offers refreshments and panoramic views of České středohoří and the Elbe lowlands.
Lovoš nature trail
This nine-kilometre trail with 12 stops leads from Malé Žernoseky through the Opárno Valley, past Opárno and up to the summit of Lovoš. It passes Černodolský Mill and the turn-off to the castle.
Milešovka
The highest mountain in České středohoří (837 m), with a lookout tower at the summit. In good weather you can see the Ore Mountains, Elbe Sandstones and Prague.
Getting here without a car
The nearest stop is Velemín, Opárno. The Opárenský expres tourist train also operates during the season. Please check current connections for your travel dates.

Several parking spaces are available directly by the house. With more cars, please note that not all of them may fit next to the house.
